Caregiving Respite

All too familiar with the burden of caregiving, Karla Smiles seeks to offer relief from caregiving through small gestures like errands, rides, accompanying medical appointments, meals and other thoughtful ways to lessen the burden/cognitive load for caregivers, offering them a reason to smile when overwhelmed.

Grief & Spiritual Counsel

Many people believe grief only comes with death, but grief is a natural byproduct of any kind of loss. Families touched by illness (terminal or temporary) experience grief. Karla's smiles seeks to walk along side of families to help them smile in the face of loss.

Food & Housing Scarcity Resources

Karla Smiles seeks to help those who face housing and food scarcity by connecting them to resources and opportunities already available in the community. At times, we find resources as well.  With compassion, we show up for the families offering them a reason to smile during hard times.
